Dust free sanding

Using  specialist dust extraction equipment allows us to work  quicker as well as keeping your home cleaner and protects you and your family from exposure to potentially dangerous dust.

The dust extractor we use is a class M machine meaning more than 99.9% of dust is retained by the filter.

This means whole rooms* can be sanded quickly without filling your home with dust.

 There is a legal duty for employers  to prevent or adequately control worker exposure to construction dust and the HSE recommends a minimum of class m filtration for most materials being sanded so we take the view that if employees should be protected from dust then so should our customers.

* some areas such as intricate mouldings will not be able to be power sanded , for these areas the dust will be kept to a minimum by other methods such as wet sanding etc.
